A quality fly rod, properly balanced with line and leader, and used properly, is the beginning of a rewarding and gratifying journey. We begin here with these basic tools to develop in you the skill of the cast. You will learn that correct casting is fun and we can assure you that the skills you are developing will serve you well in all your fly fishing endeavors.
You will be able to use your skills not just on Montana rivers, but equally well on a steelhead river in the Northwest, a redfish journey in the Gulf of Mexico, fishing for bonefish in the Islamorada, or casting off a sports outboard in the Chesapeake Bay for striped bass.
